M.A. Therkildsen

Why is this important?

Everything that surrounds us, has an influence on us. Everything influences the body, the soul, emotions and thoughts. That’s why we create good experiences because they attract people. We believe the world needs more positive experiences and happy people.

Why can you trust us?

We offer services in areas that were chosen based on my yearlong experience in infographics and design work, coupled with analytical skills, special awareness, eye for detail and ability to quickly identify weak connection points based on needs analysis.

WEB DESIGN AND AUDITING:

Information architecture or getting from point A to point B, same as in public areas, is all about supporting the user in the process of reaching his destination. I draw experience from previous years, also currently I’m studying UX Design where I’m learning from the best market experts in visual product design.

SIGNAGE SYSTEMS:

Signage system design was the theme of my master’s thesis both on the practical part (Signage design for Maternity Hospital in Katowice) as well as the theoretical part (signage system in public areas – analysis and evaluation based on the example of the Warsaw Underground). Combining visual aspects with needs, analysis and technical analysis was a source of great satisfaction. One of my favourite challenges.

SENSITIVITY TO DETAILS, EMOTIONS AND NEEDS:

Empathy and understanding of needs were born out of the need to understand my own behavioural patterns, habits and beliefs. I started looking for a personal development path 10 years ago. This led me, after a few years, to the Trop Group which trains Trainers and Coaches. Few stages of coaching, personal counseling, have developed my ability to understand needs and build empathy. This influenced my professional life. I became interested in cognitive psychology. To further expand this knowledge I decided to study User Experience Design.

BOOK DESIGN:

My first experiences in book design date back to my studies at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. That’s where I learned about the process of book design from paper analysis and choice, through sewing and gluing techniques. In 2016 I prepared my biggest book project so far, a 260 pages hardcover monograph Beats of Cochlea by professor Skarżyński. The project was made for the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing, to accompany an international music festival for people with hearing disorder. I designed the visual side, chose and prepared the pictures and drawings, edited it and prepared for printing. The book received a very warm welcome.
